ABOUT Michelle
I am a certified practitioner in the Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement® (ABMNM), with additional training in Children with Special Needs and Vitality & Anti-Ageing. I have also completed two advanced mentoring programmes directly with Anat Baniel and am trained as an online ABMNM coach.

I was first introduced to the Feldenkrais (Anat Baniel’s teacher) method during my time at university. With a background in dance, drama, and education, I went on to qualify and work as a primary school teacher in the UK, USA, and Asia for over ten years. I hold an MSc in Psychology and am a qualified Mental Health First Aider.
My journey with the Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement® began while searching for ways to help my son, who has complex needs. After visiting the ABM Centre in San Rafael and meeting Anat Baniel in person, I joined her professional training in 2016. This began my deep exploration into how moving with awareness and using the Nine Essentials in everyday life can create profound positive change.
I continue to expand my knowledge — in education, in understanding medical conditions and diagnoses, and in holistic wellbeing — recognising that a person’s overall health and vitality is a balance between the physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual.
I am passionate about teaching, coaching, and supporting individuals and families to create meaningful, lasting change. Whether you’re seeking to enhance your own wellbeing or support a child with exceptional needs, I bring both professional expertise and personal experience to our work together.
